Join us for a meaningful morning of connection and insight into how CCLS nurtures academic and spiritual growth from Early Childhood through Middle School. This Coffee & Conversation is designed to strengthen the partnership between home and school, giving families a deeper understanding of what learning looks like at each stage.

Enjoy coffee and light snacks during a time of fellowship hosted by Kayla, beginning immediately after drop-off. Then hear from our academic leaders:

  • Executive Director Matt Hoehner will open the morning by framing the purpose of Coffee Talks and the vital role parents play in academic growth.
  • Early Childhood Director Angela Shirley will share how play-based learning in Early Childhood supports cognitive, social, and spiritual development, along with practical tips for supporting learning at home.
  • Elementary Principal Rachel Klug will highlight core academic goals in Elementary, explain how data informs instruction, and show how faith is woven into daily learning.
  • Middle School Principal Royce Hartmann will speak on Middle School’s focus on independence, executive functioning, and faith formation through Chapel Families, with examples of student work and classroom life.

We’ll close with a time of connection, prayer, and an invitation to future Coffee Talks and volunteer opportunities.

Know a family curious about CCLS? Invite them to join you! This is a great opportunity for prospective parents to experience the heart of our school community.
