Volunteer at CCLS
There are many ways to serve at CCLS. We all work together as the body of Christ, and volunteering is a great way to get involved! It connects our families and nurtures relationships. Volunteering with our youth and children requires more attention to facilitate a safe and nurturing environment in which children can learn and grow in a strong educational and spiritual environment.
Anyone wishing to volunteer with our children and youth at Christ Community Lutheran School must read the Volunteer Handbook in its entirety, certify that they have read it and submit their information for a background check. It takes about one week to process and clear a volunteer. Once cleared, a person would then be allowed to volunteer at CCLS.
How to Get Started
Step 1
Read the Volunteer Handbook at the button below in its entirety and submit the form at the bottom of the page.
Step 2
Click below to complete sexual abuse awareness training through Ministry Safe. This is a 90 minute online video training followed by a brief multiple-choice quiz.
Step 3
Once Step 1 & 2 are completed, keep an eye on your inbox. A member of our team will send you an email for instructions to complete your background check. Background checks cost $8. If cost presents a burden, please contact us.
You Completed the Steps... Now What?
We will reach out to you within 5 business days once all 3 steps have been completed. In the meantime, browse our volunteer opportunities (please note you may not sign up to volunteer until cleared to volunteer).
