RSVP for our Grandparents and Special Friends Celebrations the Week of April 15th!

Thank you for your interest in supporting CCLS!  Our school exists to transform lives through Christ-centered education, and your financial gifts help us to realize that vision in tangible ways.  Through the generosity of donors, like you, we are able to provide tuition assistance for students with financial need.  Your gifts also allow us to equip our teachers and our classrooms with the curriculum, technology, and other resources necessary to achieve an environment where our students can excel academically and grow as serving leaders. Please contact us if you would like to learn more about Giving to CCLS,  . Thank you for your support!

Maximize Your Gift with Matching Funds

Many employers match as much as 100% of charitable contributions which their employees make to educational institutions. Please look into this partial list of companies in our area that match gifts. We encourage you to check with your employer (even if not on our list) when you give a gift to CCLS.

Become a Charger Society Member

The CCLS Charger Society was established in 2011 to assemble a group of passionate supporters to lead the community to financially invest in the school's vision and mission. Membership is granted to donors with gifts of $2,500 or more to CCLS made through a combination of personal donations and matching gifts.

Grow the Charger Legacy Endowment Fund

The Charger Legacy Endowment Fund was established in 2019 to provide tuition assistance for CCLS students.  Gifts made to the Endowment fund will support Lutheran education well into the future, through long-term planning and investment.

Donate Securities

Gifts of stock, bonds, mutual funds, and other securities may be made to CCLS through our Stifel DTC securities transfer process. In addition to providing a significant gift, donating long-term appreciated securities enables you to avoid potential capital gains taxes and receive a charitable income tax deduction.

Make an IRA Charitable Distribution

If you are 70 1/2 years old or older, you can take advantage of a simple way to give to CCLS and receive tax benefits in return. You can make a Qualified Charitable Distribution from your IRA directly to CCLS and pay no income taxes on the gift. The transfer generates neither taxable income nor a tax deduction, so you benefit even if you do not itemize your deductions. If you have not yet taken your required minimum distribution for the year, your IRA charitable gift can satisfy all or part of that requirement.

Reallocate Your State Taxes

As described on the Missouri State Treasurer’s website: “MOScholars was established by the Missouri General Assembly in 2021 to provide educational opportunities and resources to Missouri students and families. The program provides options for eligible families, allowing them to seek an array of alternative educational services ranging from private schools to therapeutic services. The law provides state tax credits for contributions to approved, non-profit Educational Assistance Organizations (EAOs). These EAOs use the contributions to award scholarships to Missouri students with Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and students living in low-income households.”

Tax credits may be awarded to individuals and businesses in the state of Missouri who make an eligible contribution to a certified educational assistance organization (EAO). These contributions for tax credits then fund the MOScholars scholarships for eligible students.

Donors may begin to reserve MOScholars tax credits on June 27, 2022; then, starting on July 1, donors may begin making contributions to EAOs. Today and Tomorrow Foundation and Lutheran Church Missouri Synod - Missouri District are both CCLS EAO partners. Learn more about donating to MOScholars here.

Why give to CCLS? To make it possible for a child with financial need to be nurtured into an informed, moral, and thinking individual and citizen. CCLS can only start his/her journey; but what a foundation you can lay! "
