Matthew Hoehner
Executive Director
Since July of 2019 Rev. Dr. Matt Hoehner has served as Executive Director of Christ Community Lutheran School. Matt has served as a pastor for over 20 years. Prior to his role at CCLS, Matt served as Regional Executive Director of Open Sky Education, in St. Louis. In that role, Matt led the development of a region of four high performing EAGLE Charter Schools and Compass Educational Programs in St. Louis. Matt also helped develop the Character Formation Project, serving schools and organizations across the nation and the world.
Matt graduated from Concordia University, River Forest in 1998. He then went on to Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, where he received a Master of Divinity, a Master of Sacred Theology, and a Doctor of Ministry in Cross-Cultural Leadership. There he served as an adjunct instructor for nine years. He also served as an adjunct instructor with Concordia University Wisconsin, in St. Louis.
Matt and his family are members at Concordia Lutheran Church. All three of his children attended CCLS, including his daughter, Rachel, who is currently in the third grade.
