Early Childhood Assistant Teacher

Join our Early Childhood Education ministry, serving Infants through 5 Year Olds as they develop socially, emotionally, physically, intellectually, and spiritually and cultivate kindergarten readiness. The Assistant Teacher partners with a Lead Teacher to create a classroom team for the year -- or many years! Requires prior experience working with children in a ministry or school setting. A degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related course of study is preferred but not necessarily required. This role includes physical requirements for standing, lifting, and carrying children.

Early Childhood Assistant Teacher/Runner

Join our Early Childhood Education ministry, serving Infants through 5 Year Olds as they develop socially, emotionally, physically, intellectually, and spiritually and cultivate kindergarten readiness. As an Assistant Teacher, you will partner with a Lead Teacher to create a classroom team for the year -- or many years! As a Runner, you will stop by a nearby campus each day (either at the beginning or end of your shift) to pick up or drop off items. Requires prior experience working with children in a ministry or school setting. A degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related course of study is preferred but not necessarily required. This role includes physical requirements for standing, lifting, and carrying children.

The Assistant Teacher Fellow is a dynamic role that works with various classrooms and teachers on a rotation throughout the year, or fills in for Assistant Teachers as a sub. Great opportunity for future teachers to learn from a variety of experienced Master Teachers in our program! Requires prior experience working with children in a ministry or school setting. A degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related course of study is preferred but not necessarily required. This role includes physical requirements for standing, lifting, and carrying children.

Rotate between rooms on our Crestwood and Webster campuses.

Elementary Teacher's Aide

Come join the fun in Elementary! As a Teacher's Aide you will be partnered with a Teacher to make a team for the year in one of our Kindergarten through Fourth Grade classrooms. Duties vary by grade and by individual teacher, but an example of what you might be doing includes assisting in classroom group activities, grading papers, prepping materials, assembling folders and packets, and supervising children at lunch and recess. Some Aides also step in as a substitute teacher, depending on classroom needs and your own comfort level. Prior experience working with children in a ministry or school setting is required. Prior teaching experience or Education degree is ideal but not necessarily required. This role includes physical requirements for standing and walking throughout the day.

Food Service Worker

Looking for a fun way to be involved in school? Join our lunch program as a Food Service Worker! Great hours -- come in at 9 a.m. and help prep food for lunch, then assist as the students come through the lunch line, serving food onto their trays. After washing up and tidying the kitchen, you are on your way at 1 p.m. with a couple hours to spare before school ends.

    • Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, 9:00am–1:00pm (12 hours)
  • Webster (Elementary School Campus)
    • Monday–Friday, 9:00am–1:00pm (20 hours)

Micro School Aide

Great opportunity to work in a Christ-centered small school setting in Glen Carbon, Illinois. As an Aide at our new micro-school, you will assist the Learning Guide (teacher) in supervising students while they work on independently-led, project-based learning. "One room schoolhouse" feel with mix of 5th grade through 8th grade in one room, 25-30 students total. Convenient schedule of just three hours per day.
