Uganda Bead Project
Women from the Kawete village take paper from many colors and hand-roll it into extremely durable, water-resistant paper beads. Each beautiful bead represents the care and craftsmanship of the artist.
Upon each visit, members of the CCLS-St. Louis traveling teams purchase these beads and, in turn, make them into jewelry -- necklaces, bracelets, rings, key chain fobs, lanyards, and Christmas ornaments -- to be sold to raise funds for the project. 100% of the sale of these items goes directly back to
CCLS-U for the sustenance of the school, teachers' salaries, and medical care. Purchase of any of these items helps to bring hope for a future of this ministry.
