Giving to ccls

We offer various methods by which you can make financial gifts to our school. Gifts may be made to the school’s general operating budget, or designated to a specific fund of your choice. Each gift is a blessing to our community, and our Mission Advancement office welcomes the opportunity to assist you in determining how you can give. Please contact Jen Pawlitz, Director of Mission Advancement, jpawlitz@ccls-stlouis.org, with any questions.

  • CASH

Cash gifts may be made outright or as a pledge. Checks may be mailed to the CCLS office. Cash gifts may also be made online through our PayPal account on the school website.

  • MATCHING GIFTS

Maximize your gift through employer gift matching programs. Many employers match as much as 100% of charitable contributions which their employees make to educational institutions. We have provided a partial list of companies that match gifts in our area at this link. We encourage you to check with your employer (even if not on this list) when you give a gift to CCLS.

  • SECURITIES

Gifts of stock and other securities may be made to CCLS through our Wells Fargo Advisors free DTC securities transfer process.

  • PLANNED GIFTS

Designate a planned gift to CCLS through your will or trust and leave a legacy in support of our ministry.

  • ENDOWMENT FUND

Make a gift to the CCLS Leadership Fund (which is similar to an endowment fund) and provide for the Christian education of future generations of CCLS students.

  • GIFTS IN KIND

Non-cash gifts of goods or services may also be given to CCLS.

  • GIVING-BACK PROGRAMS

You can support CCLS through some of the many “giving-back” programs available, such as SCRIP gift certificates, Amazon Smile online, and Thrivent Financial for Lutherans-Thrivent Choice.

Christ Community Lutheran School is a Missouri not-for-profit corporation that has been granted tax-exempt status by the I.R.S. under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Accordingly, your financial gift to CCLS may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. CCLS encourages potential donors to consult their tax advisor(s) in connection with making a gift. CCLS respects the privacy of its donors. A copy of the “Donor-Privacy Policy” is available at this link.
