While daily Discipleship class is on the schedule every day for every student, it's who we are and what we do. Our Lutheran-trained teachers teach the Christian faith on a daily basis through the curriculum they use to the example they set for their students. At CCLS, the formation of relationships is the most critical component of what we do. Ultimately, we want each of our students to know Jesus Christ as his or her personal Savior, and then be able to share that love with others.

One way our students share Jesus' love with others is through quarterly service projects. Each of our students in grades K-8 is responsible for impacting his or her community in some formal way four times per year. In addition, the opportunities our students have to impact our local community, nation, and world abound. From serving meals at an underprivileged church in the city to packing and sending shoeboxes with Operation Christian Child, to stocking the local Kirk Kare food pantry to building a new school in Uganda, Africa, our students understand the significance of living a life of service and outreach.
