Welcome to CCLS

Welcome to Christ Community Lutheran School!  As you get acquainted with CCLS, we are confident that you will find that we are a school with a focus on academic excellence in a Christ-centered community. Located on five campuses, Christ Community Lutheran School provides Christian education for infants as young as six weeks through Grade 8. Over 700 students are enrolled at CCLS this school year between all five of our school campuses. CCLS was established in 1973; it is an association school of four St. Louis congregations of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. At CCLS, we hold to a Statement of Faith, based in Biblical truth, which guides school actions and decisions. Our faculty and staff are a group of dedicated educational leaders, faithful to the development of young people’s minds and hearts. Our families come from varied backgrounds, with the commonality of commitment to Christian education.  Working together, we live out our vision to transform lives through Christ-centered education.

Financial Aid

Families applying for Kindergarten-Grade 8 at Christ Community Lutheran School may apply for financial assistance through FACTS. FACTS is not a source of assistance; rather, a third-party qualifier that is impartial, confidential and accurate. CCLS uses FACTS exclusively to calculate family tuition assistance need. Families may apply for assistance only after their application to CCLS is complete.

The annual financial need for CCLS families is greater than the funds available. Qualifying families receive a percentage of the assistance for which they qualify. In general, families do not receive assistance greater than 50% of the tuition, regardless of the amount for which they qualify. Students of families applying for assistance must be in good standing with CCLS or their prior school.

Each of the four CCLS association congregations awards their own member children. The CCLS Board of Directors entrusts tuition assistance scholarship awards for community families to the scholarship committee. Scholarship dollars are not available for the CCLS early childhood program.

Tuition Assistance Options

Families apply for financial assistance through FACTS. Priority is given to families who apply by April 10.

  • Financial aid will be applied to tuition contracts, if known at the time of sending contracts in April; otherwise, it will be applied to the billing account in Tuition Management.
  • Scholarship letters will be emailed through FACTS once determined.
  • Any available funds may be dispersed to newly enrolled families or families with recent hardships after the deadline based on calculated need.

CCLS, Association churches, LESA, ACE, and MOScholars all utilize FACTS, so only one application will need to be submitted to apply to each of them. However, each organization may have specific questions and documents required. Scholarships and association discounts will be awarded in the following order for the 2024-2025 school year. Links provided with more information about scholarships and how to apply.
